The Museum Railway of Thessaly began its activity in 1999 by a small group of volunteers

with the sole motive of highlighting this historic line from Volos to Paleofarsalos.


For this purpose, Velestino station was used as headquarters, due to the existence of infrastructure capable

 of meeting the needs for the operation of our museum railway.



Radial wheel

A characteristic of many historical vehicles of the "Railways of Thessaly" is the radial wheel. We keep the rolling, rolling along with it..
